What is your favorite thing about Saint James so far: I have been impressed by the alignment between the stated mission of the school and its actual daily approach to education and community. I am excited to teach at a school that prepares students for academic success in college, but equally instills kindness, decency, integrity, and social grace in young people as they move toward adulthood. The world outside these gates needs smart people, but it needs good ones even more.

In addition to teaching, I also enjoy: FSU football, photography, and—believe it or not—literature.

Inspirational or favorite quote: "Mystery isn't something that is gradually evaporating. It grows along with knowledge." – Flannery O'Connor

Something most people don't know about me: I have an unguarded and perhaps incongruous love for Disney World.
