Brittany (Olenczak) Nieves recently relocated to Florida with her husband and puppy to begin a new role as Director of Enrollment Management at a Nursery-5th grade independent school in Miami, FL.

Justin Robinson signed a contract in September with the Milwaukee Bucks, the NBA's defending champions. He had a career-high 11 points and four assists against Detriot on November 2.

Levi Redcross (School Store Manager and Photographer) and Molly Billings (Science Teacher) were married on October 16 in Maine. Mr. and Mrs. Cyr-Redcross will live in Mattingly.
Former SJS Director of Communications Michael Straley teamed up with his wife Robin to write “The CALLing,” a story of unfathomable loss, personal courage, and an inspired mission to honor their daughter through service to others. Mike and Robin created the Leah’s Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit established in 2019 in memory of their beloved daughter, Leah Renee. He and Robin share Leah’s story of addiction and theirs as grieving parents to women in recovery and with parents who are struggling over the loss of a loved one. In Memoriam
Richard "Dick" M. Morton '45 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on May 7, 2021. Dick is survived by his children Vickie (Dave) Snyder, Allison Randol, Kim (Bill) Maya, Rick Morton and grandson Jordan Chambers.
John L. Bowles '47 passed away on October 9, 2021 in Washington, DC. He is survived by his wife, Kay Diane Bowles; two sons, J. Laing Bowles, Jr. (Maria) and C. Houstan Bowles '90 (Trisha); and three granddaughters, Katherine, Ellie, and Kadie.
Arthur I. Bell '49 passed away on January 23, 2021 in Naples, FL. He is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Florence; his son, Arthur Bell III (Gibson) of Glyndon, MD; two granddaughters, Mercedes Bucelato (Justin) of Annapolis, MD and Nicole McLean (Robert) of Baltimore, MD; and three great granddaughters. Art had great respect for Saint James and proudly credited the school for his successes in life.
Walter W. Rule, Jr. '50 passed away on April 18, 2020 at his home in Montrose, CO. Walt is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nancy; his son, Walter, III; four daughters, Linda R. (David) Lunsford, Karen and Melanie Rule and Julia R. (Fernando) Pinheiro; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
William B. Illig '51 of Sandusky, OH, passed away on July 10, 2020. Bill is survived by his wife, June Illig of 22 years; daughter, Linda (Dan) Imke; sons, David (Kathy) Illig, John (Kana) Illig, and Edward (Lisa) Illig; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; step-daughter, Denise (Rhonda) Roberts; step-sons, William (Jenny) Smith, Jeffrey Smith, Steve (Nhaneth) Smith; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Robert C. Hobson '53 of Wilmington, NC, passed away on December 15, 2020. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Lib) Fensel Hobson. Robert is survived by his sons, Michael Campbell Hobson (Lauren) and Robert Walker Hobson (Kate), daughter Kristin Hobson Albertson (Brian), and five grandchildren.
William F. Holmead, Jr. '59 passed away on May 28, 2021.
Stephen S. George, Sr., grandfather of Courtney Brune '16, passed away on June 7, 2021. He was the former longtime CEO and general manager of Haussner’s restaurant and a collector and racer of Corvettes.
Richard "Dick" E. Ludwick passed away on November 12, 2021. He is the father of David Ludwick, past parent and trustee, and grandfather to Andrew '11, John '14, and Leanne '16. A WWII veteran, he was the owner of Ludwick Motors – Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge, Pottstown, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ginny. He is survived by his three children. Richard Ludwick, Jr. (Marilyn), Linda Nitsche (John), and David Ludwick (Gabrielle) as well as seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Martha Weisgerber, grandmother of Jack '21 and Drew '23 Weisgerber, passed away on June 5, 2021. She is survived by children and their spouses, David Weisgerber and Maura Fisher (current parents), Janice and Jerry Regan, Susan and Michael DiPietro; and grandchildren William, Jack and Drew Weisgerber, Michael and Kevin Regan, Sam and Margi DiPietro.
