Twice every school year (typically in November and February) we have a special Evensong (the Anglican Evening Prayer Office in choral form) followed by a traditional dinner in commemoration of one of our three founders. On November 15, the Solemn Evensong and "Founder's Feast" commemorated William Augustus Muhlenberg (1796-1877), a 19th century Episcopal priest and Christian educator from whose Church School Movement Saint James was established in 1842.
