Field Trip Day Gives Students An Opportunity To Learn Off Campus
On Monday, September 26, our second through fifth form students went off-campus to explore various nearby sites while our sixth formers worked on college applications. Each form went to a different location and had an opportunity to learn something and bond with each other.
The second formers took a tour of Maryland State Theatre and held a drama class on the stage before heading to Cunningham Falls State Park.
Third form students took on the high ropes course at Tree Trekkers, aerial adventure and zipline park in Frederick, MD.
The fourth formers traveled to Washington, DC, to visit the National Holocaust Museum and then had lunch by the Washington Monument.
Fifth form students took advantage of our proximity to nearby Civil War battlefields and explored both Antietam and Gettysburg.
We were glad to resume this Saint James tradition of learning off-campus and look forward to planning our field trips for next year so that each form can enjoy a new experience.
