Mummers' Society Presents Radium Girls
On November 4 and 5, the SJS Mummers' Society presented this year's fall play, Radium Girls, written by DW Gregory. Radium Girls is a drama based on the true story of female laborers who were poisoned and killed by their factory’s radium-based paint in 1920s New Jersey. It examines the commercialization of science, the pursuit of both health and wealth, the power of the underdog, and the fierce injustice laborers in America have faced. Our student-actors and crew worked hard to bring this important story to life. Great job!
