Varsity Boys' Soccer

Coach: John Tucker

Many great individual performances highlighted the Saint James School boys' varsity soccer season. While the wins and draws were few and far between, our team had a successful and developmental season. Our players never gave up, improved their skill level, and showed tremendous resilience throughout the year.

Buoyed by excellent defensive play, we were competitive in almost every contest. Led by sixth form captains Mac Carter and Phillip Aguila, the team stayed cohesive and had fun. This year was a great learning and bonding experience. The team and coaches will never forget the memories made and the hard work put in.

The year went well despite the 2-12-1 record. We are proud of the way we responded to adversity and unanticipated challenges. The team always played hard for 80 minutes, not quitting until the final whistle blew.
To finish the year, the team votes on three awards to acknowledge some of the year's best performers:

Phillip Aguila (Most Valuable Player), sixth former Danseh Yanou (Defensive Player of the Year), and fifth former Blessing Oge-Evans (Unsung Hero).
