Volunteering In Our Local Community
In September, SJS students were given an opportunity to participate in service-learning projects. Some students gleaned squash at a nearby farm, helping to pick 8,741 pounds of squash. Another group worked with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization that builds, assembles, and delivers beds to children and families in need. Our students helped to assemble 69 beds. Thank you to our faculty and parent volunteers who provided added support and supervision. We look forward to more service opportunities in the future.
