Each year, Saint James second formers are tasked with putting on a theater production in December. For 23 years, it was Saint George and the Dragon directed by Mr. Marty Collin. With Mr. Collin's retirement in 2017, SJS students had an opportunity to start a new tradition, presenting A Christmas Carol last year and this year delighting audiences with The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Directed by Ms. Charlotte La Nasa, the second form students start rehearsing almost the moment they step on campus. This production becomes a bonding experience for our youngest students — challenging and fun, they support each other in what is often their first foray into the world of theater. The second formers did a magnificent job bringing C.S. Lewis' beloved characters to life.
Bravo!
