On a rainy Tuesday afternoon, visitors Saint James School fell at the feet of Mercersburg Academy. For the second year in a row, the Saints were greeted with difficult weather conditions and an even more difficult opponent. The Blue Storm would prove to be the superior side, building off a 2-0 halftime lead and driving home the victory in the second half. The Saints put forth a valiant effort in defeat, and the score did not truly reflect the competitive nature of the game. SJS finishes its 2019 campaign on Saturday October 27th vs Walkersville.

Saint James continued to show improvement in a 4-0 defeat Saturday at Clear Spring Park. The undermanned Saints were forced to play the whole match with no substitutes, but responded with a proud performance. The game was played as part of the Saints annual Parents Weekend and was the first opportunity for many parents and relatives to see the team play. The young Saints delivered an inspired effort, clinging to a halftime tie and leaving everything on the field in the second half. They return to action Saturday October 5th when they host a 2:15pm contest.
Mercersburg Academy scored twice in the first five minutes en route to a 5-0 victory Tuesday at Saint James School. Down early, the Saints responded, playing stride for stride the rest of the half and clinging to the two goal defecit. The Blue Storm added to their lead with 20 minutes to play before two late goals put the game out of reach. Kenneth Ho paced Saint James with 14 saves.
The Maroon-and-White are back on their home turf Saturday September 21st vs FCF Black. Kickoff is slated for 12:30pm
