Congratulations to John Metchie, III (SJS '18) who was selected by the Houston Texans with the 44th pick in the second round of the NFL draft! Metchie had finished his third year as a wide receiver at the University of Alabama. He won a national championship with the Crimson Tide in 2021.
While at Saint James, Metchie recorded more than 1,300 rushing yards, 2,500 receiving yards, and 42 total touchdowns.
