PARENT NEWSLETTER

Washington County Student Art Show

Greetings from the Dean's Office!

Long weekend is here! Tomorrow will mark our third casual day of the week; Tuesday was in honor of the wrestling team securing the MAC Dual Meet Championship, and today and tomorrow are due to the bitter cold we are facing.

Although the classrooms and residence halls will be quiet, campus will be abuzz with visitors from all over for the Saint James Invitational Tournament (SJIT).  If you are high school basketball fan, or just an SJS supporter, I encourage you to come out for a game this weekend.  Get your SJIT tickets online.

Also, good luck to our choir who will depart tomorrow morning for Florida where they will perform several times over the course of long weekend.

When we return from break, we will have just four weeks until spring break!  The time flies with the end of winter sports season, mid-year papers and projects, and the winter musical. It is a whirlwind time for many of our students, but an exciting one, too.

 Sincerely,

Steve Lachut
Dean of Students
