November 12, 2020 PARENT NEWSLETTER Greetings from the Dean's Office!
It is with regret that what I cautioned last week has come to fruition. Given the steady increase in both percent positivity (6.28%) and the 7-day moving average cases per 100k (24.59) we will be suspending parent visitation. Unless the numbers improve dramatically, we are unlikely to have visitation again this calendar year.
A few important dates to keep in mind for the community:
More detailed information will come regarding these dates.
Sincerely,
Steve Lachut Dean of Students

Some ideas for fulfilling service-learning hours are:
Please be reminded that all submitted service-learning hours must conform to the guidelines outlined in pp. 24-25 of the 2020-2021 Saint James Handbook, particularly that all hours must be voluntary (no compensation of any kind received) and be supervised by an adult other than a relative (no parent, grandparent, or other family approval is accepted).
If there are any questions or concerns, please email Father Montgomery or call him at (301) 733-9330 ext. 3007.
Prayer Intentions for Sunday Prayers of the People
If anybody in the larger School family at any time would like to add an intention to the Chapel's Sunday Prayers of the People, please email Father Montgomery with your request.
