The Annual Fund is the cornerstone of philanthropy at Saint James School. Money raised for the Annual Fund campaign is a vital component of the School’s total operating budget. Each year, this fund helps to:

provide financial aid for deserving students.
support teacher salaries and professional development.
purchase academic and extracurricular equipment.
ensure educational, enrichment, and entertainment opportunities for students.
maintain the School’s academic and athletic facilities.

Gifts to this fund are unrestricted, allowing the School’s leadership to determine where this support is most needed, and can do the most good.

What is the Annual Fund?

Gifts to the Annual Fund provide immediate support for academics, financial aid, faculty enrichment, athletics, performing and visual arts, and more.

Essentially, the Annual Fund provides resources beyond tuition that support all areas of the School and benefit all students in the academic year the funds are donated. With more than 15% of our yearly budget derived from annual donations and income from our endowment, gifts to the Annual Fund make a difference.

Why do we need the Annual Fund?

Why do we ask you to support the Annual Fund?

Saint James School has fewer supporters than many large universities or charities, but our needs are just as great. That’s why we ask every member of the SJS community to support the Annual Fund – including our Board of Trustees, parents, faculty and staff, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, and friends.

Since tuition alone does not cover the entire cost of a year’s education, fundraising is vital to maintain the health and continued growth of the school.

How can you give to the Annual Fund?

It is easy to give to the Annual Fund! Whether online, via mail or by phone, we cannot wait to hear from you. Contributions to the Annual Fund are fully tax-deductible, and may be paid by cash, check, credit card, and more. Pledges may be made, and then fulfilled later in the year (before June 30th).
