This summer, the School's coaches are challenging our young ladies to stay fit and active through the first-ever workout competition, dubbed the Saint James Summer Games.
The students have been split into 10 separate teams with a team captain and a faculty advisor to oversee their progress. Students can earn points for their team simply by exercising at home, or at the various workout events that will be hosted on campus.
On Tuesday, Gracie '19 and Caroline '21 Bowers' mom came in as a guest instructor to teach a Crossfit workout as well as a proper lifting form using an Olympic technique called a power clean. The girls then partnered to complete their "Workout of the Day" or WOD.
Good luck to each of the 10 teams!
